The portal was developed for a large digital healthcare company to provide near real-time visibility of prescriptions. The major challenge in the project was to integrate the data coming from heterogeneous Pharmacy Management Systems (PMS) to make them homogeneous so that they can be consumed by various internal and external platforms.

The process started with an in-depth study of various PMS systems, their data specifications, and prescription workflow. Simultaneously, we had our UI/UX team start defining the user journey both from the Pharmacy as well as the customer standpoint. Once the analysis of the data was completed, various integration endpoints were identified, and their API specifications were written. As the last step, the APIs were integrated with the front end to finalize the secure web portal.

The core binder of this project was full visibility into the prescription workflow. It allowed the end customers full visibility into their prescription processing like creation, billing, copay, and delivery. This project promotes transparency and security to all users for a convenient user experience in terms of their healthcare.
